This table is going to be gorgeous. I’m using reclaimed hemlock from Toronto’s Queens Wharf. People are telling me the wood is from 1790, while others are saying it’s from the 1830′s, either way it’s ridiculously amazing and ridiculously old. The first project is a 9′ dining room table. The base is finished and is being powder coated in matte black. The planks are acclimatizing before i start to work with them. The grain in this wood is like no other. I’m pretty excited.
